Join us for the Fort Bragg Sustainability Expo, a tremendous opportunity to interact with key personnel from the organizations and commands that makeup this very important army installation. The event's focus is to support Fort Bragg's mission readiness, soldier health and safety, sustainability initiatives, and heighten awareness of sustainable procurement compliance requirements, benefits, and the resources available to Fort Bragg purchasers. Fort Bragg is Home of the Airborne and Special Operations and is often called “the center of the military universe”. Fort Bragg is the largest U.S. military installation in terms of population, with approximately 53,700 troops and another 14,000 civilians who work on post. Fort Bragg covers approximately 254 sq. miles (nearly 163,000 acres), and hosts 18 tenant units, including FORSCOM, USASOC, and U.S. Army Reserve Command. In fiscal 2016, MICC-Fort Bragg executed more than 1,800 contract actions valued at more than $295.8 million in support of its customers, including $85.1 million to American small businesses. The contracting office also managed more than 62,800 Government Purchase Card Program transactions in fiscal 2016 valued at an additional $68.9 million. Hosted by Directorate, Public Works, Environmental - the Fort Bragg Sustainability Expo can accommodate up to 40 vendors, so make your plans to participate and make contact with 100-150 personnel that you cannot reach any other way. Vendors will feature products and services including: Recycled content products, Biobased products, Energy efficient products, WaterSense products, Environmental services, and Products and services that support Fort Bragg sustainability initiatives.
