The 2020 Hill AFB Technology Expo will be held as a virtual event on June 3rd. With travel and gathering restrictions still in place, this very unique opportunity will be a new way to bring technology vendors together with military and defense personnel in the current environment due to the Covid-19 outbreak. Personnel from commands and organizations throughout Hill AFB will be able to speak to exhibiting vendors in real time, chat, ask questions, exchange information and more. Three Technology Briefings offering CEU’s will also be available to attend “live” as well as archived.
Hill is home to many operational and support missions, with the Ogden Air Logistics Center (OO-ALC) serving as the main organization and the 75th Air Base Wing providing the support. The center provides worldwide engineering and logistics management for the F-16 Fighting Falcon, A-10 Thunderbolt II, Minuteman III intercontinental ballistic missile. Additionally, the 75th ABW provides base operating support for the Ogden Air Logistics Center, the 388th and 419th Fighter Wings, 84th Combat Sustainment Wing, 309th Maintenance Wing, 508th Aerospace Sustainment Wing and 25 associate units. Although promotional efforts for Hill will be far reaching, but the focus will be on the Air Logistics Centers Directorates and the 75th ABWs tenant commands and units.
The Local Wasatch AFCEA Chapter is the host of the Expo and we are working in conjunction with AFCEA HQ to promote the virtual expo and briefings to AFCEA members world wide – greatly expanding the potential audience outside the physical installation of Hill AFB.
